87 ladies gathered at Pyecombe Golf Club for the 4thPresident’s Day event, hosted by this year’s President, Bron Morley.
A two tee start saw all the groups off on time, assisted by two male members, who kept the waiting ladies entertained with their happy banter.
The weather was incredible, with almost wall to wall sunshine along with some fluffy, high clouds and a gentle breeze.
Views of the downs from the course were amazing.
Play was followed by a two course meal and prize giving.
The winners of the President’s Trophy were Julia Dryden, Yvonne Jenkins & Michelle Charmak from the Dyke with 73 points. This was a first event for Julia and Michelle, who is the current Lady Captain at The Dyke.
The raffle in aid of the Lady Captain’s Charity, the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, raised £320.
