Spring is here!

It seems to have been a long miserable winter and I know many golfers have not been able to play much – hopefully that’s all behind us as courses dry out and Spring beckons us out there again.  As the 2025 season kicks off, it’s time to get your diaries organised and sign up to our events.  A big ‘Welcome on Board’ to our new and returning members representing 19 different clubs – good to have you with us – please do get involved with our meetings and matches – we have 9 events between May and October.

• The closing date for match applications is 31st March. Our home fixtures are very popular this year, so some of you will inevitably be disappointed, but we are looking for some more players for our first fixture against Hampshire at Corhampton (north of Portsmouth) on Monday 19th May. Details of all matches are in the handbook and on the website, get your applications in by the end of the month. Players will be advised during April regarding all matches.

• We still have a few places left for the Spring Meeting being played at the Dyke on Monday 12th May – the more the merrier, send your application off asap to bag a place.

• For those of you who have already completed our survey, thank you. If you haven’t yet got round to it, the closing date is 21st March, it really does only take 5 minutes and we welcome your feedback and suggestions to help shape the Association going forwards.

• We’ve just launched our new promotional leaflets and poster for display at your clubs, and our new Facebook page where we’ll post news, information and results from our golf days. Please ‘follow us’ and ‘like’ and help spread the message Follow us on Facebook
