Our first match of the season was at Chislehurst and we were warmly welcomed at a beautiful clubhouse which once was the home of Napoleon the third. The vagaries of the weather meant that I was a non-playing captain as they were not allowing buggies on the course but the rest of our team managed a very creditable half.
The weather for this time of the year was cold but everyone enjoyed their games, and we had an excellent meal to follow.
We look forward to seeing the ladies from Kent for the return match on 12th June at Mid Sussex GC.
