Big thanks to the Dyke GC for allowing us to hold our Mixed Meeting on a Sunday afternoon. The weather wasn’t too friendly when we first arrived, but by the time we teed off the sun was shining once more and there was a welcome breeze. For a change, we enjoyed a Breakfast Brunch before play which seemed to go down well and set us up for the afternoon ahead. 28 Pairs took part (all pictured below) and we benefited from the extra run we are getting on the dry courses at the moment. There were some great scores off 85% handicap with the winning score of 46 points from Alicia and Nigel Phillips. After play, we sat down to sandwiches, cake and tea/coffee.
Thank you to the Dyke for the delicious food we received and for their amazing team who looked after us so well. Also, a big shout out to the Competition Secretary Caroline who arranged such a wonderful day.
